40th FIAP Youth Biennial

Youth results

The 40th FIAP Youth Digital Biennial 2021 closed for entries on the 1st November 2021. This year, this competition was organised and presented by BFF/FBP of Belgium.

The competition had 2 categories:
Category 1: for youth members up to the age of 16 years, and
Category 2: for youth members up to the age of 21.
Each national association member of FIAP was allowed to enter 20 digital images in each of the categories with a maximum of 2 entries per author. The jury members consisted of a panel from Luxembourg, Netherlands and Belgium.

The Youth Division of PSSA entered 20 images into both categories from 15 authors for category 1 and 10 authors for category 2.
We are extremely excited to report that South Africa was placed 2nd (out of 18 countries) in category 1 and 7th (out of 18 countries) in category 2. With this achievement, PSSA received a FIAP Gold Medal and a FIAP Diploma.
